These decorative candles are printed and illustrated by me, and measure 15 cm high x 7 cm wide.
Fragrance-free and made of paraffin, these candles do not drip or create smoke - You can coat them with essential oils for your rituals or simply use them as decoration!
Regarding the illustration:
This illustration was inspired by Brigid (or Brigit), Celtic Goddess of Ireland. There are three points on her face, these points represent the 3 aspects of the goddess: the young virgin, the loving and nurturing mother and the wise old woman.
Brigid is a goddess of healing, metalwork, poetry and music. She breathes inspiration.
The cross shown in the illustration is a Brigid's cross. These crosses are made of leaves of grass or straw. The appearance of the cross could change according to local cultural tradition, but the symbolism remained the same: the cross which was hung in the house, became a talisman of protection against evil spirits and fire.
The tradition is to make Brigid's crosses on the eve of Imbolc (February 1),
