You probably know certain customs of the celebrations of this Sabbath, such as the Yule log which must be kept lit throughout the night of the solstice, but also inviting the light to return by lighting a multitude of candles, or even offering gifts to loved ones. ... This illustration represents all of these symbols. You will notice the hanging mistletoe, the branches of ivy, holly and fir, as well as the pomegranates which invite sharing. Will you have recognized the two birds symbolizing Yule, the Wren and the Robin?
