Regarding these Tarot cards...
Some time ago, for the coming of Litha, I chose to illustrate three tarot cards which represent this celebration of the summer solstice!
✦ The Chariot: This arcana establishes an aura of evolution in our lives, changes towards success, and everything in control. We set our goals there, and we take the path to achieving them.
✦ The Empress: She is the maternal figure of the tarot through her femininity, strong and confident. It symbolizes fertility as well as abundance, but also creativity.
✦ The World: Symbol of absolute harmony, The World brings us success and accomplishment. It’s the card of happiness!
Then for Samhain, three new arcana that are inspiring me at the moment...
✦ Death: Mourning, questioning and rebirth, here are the big words that define this card often seen as negative... on the contrary, it is about letting go, refocusing on yourself in order to move forward. before and start a new cycle... I included branches of elderberry (one in flower and one in fruit to recall the idea of cycle) because it is a plant symbol of this arcana of tarot.
✦ The Hermit : L'Hermite guarantees solid foundations to build on in the long term. He is a discreet guide and not very talkative, but he will lead you on a safe and reliable path. Let's take the time to learn and develop our strengths, life is not a race, and there is no need to compare ourselves to others. We need ourselves first to move forward... the tree attached to the Hermit is the aspen, whose leaves form his immortal crown...
✦ The Sun : Harmony, fulfillment, but also revelation, whether it is pleasant to hear or not. The Sun arcana does not represent mystery, it is there to show us the true truth. It is an excellent guide to beautiful intentions and beautiful thoughts, with your feet firmly on the ground. I included two sunflower flowers as well as two heliotrope flowers, which according to magical correspondences, represent the arcana of the Sun.
